Alumni endow ₹12-crore scholarship fund for first-generation students
The Class of 2006 gift will fully fund 40 students every year.
Marking their 20-year reunion, the Class of 2006 announced a ₹12-crore endowment that will fully fund tuition, hostel and living expenses for 40 first-generation college students every year.
"Aurora changed our lives; this is us holding the door open," said fund convenor Deepak Rao (CSE '06), now a VP of Engineering in Seattle.
